Angelina Darrisaw was a panelist for Marymount School of New York's Alumnae Career Event at Thomson Reuters Headquarters on March 2, 2016.
The hour-long panel was moderated by the Reuter's own Global Head of Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion and Marymount Alum, Patsy Doerr '86. In addition to Angelina, the panelists included, Sandra Carreon-John '90 of Saatchi, Tracey Vallarta-Jordal '86 of Pimco and Ritu Banga, and alum parent and co-founder of Zoomdojo.
Angelina discussed the importance of feedback in building a career, why having a powerful presentation matters and the value seeking mentors who have a different lens and worldview.
The panel was followed by a networking reception featuring professionals in Communications & Media, Career Recruitment & HR, Legal, Non-Profit & Entrepreneurship, Finance and Medicine & Health/Wellness.
